Anti-bride inspired editorial elopement downtown Victoria BC

Editorial Elopement Downtown Victoria

WRITTEN BY:

Taiya Davidsen

An Anti-Bride inspired editorial elopement downtown Victoria. The bride embraced a non-traditional approach by opting for a short dress instead of a traditional gown. This choice added a modern and unique twist to her bridal look. We styled her short bridal dress with vintage-inspired heels, a short veil, and pearl earrings. I was inspired by a neon sign outside a restaurant in Victoria to have a pop of colour bouquet for this bridal look, I went with a bright red simple floral arrangement to match the simplicity of the elopement.

Downtown Victoria was the perfect location for a documentary-style elopement with all of its unique streets, buildings, and rooftops. It allowed me to tell the couple’s love story candidly while strolling around downtown.

If you’re looking for a photographer who can capture your love story in a documentary-style approach, and capture editorial-style portraits of you and your love, I’m your girl!
