I'm an early-twenties photographer currently living life in the good old prairies of Saskatchewan. Things I love: SZA, Big Bang Theory, soft chicken tacos, all-dressed Ruffles chips, my golden retriever, Charlie, and couples who fully trust me and my creative visions to capture their special moments in life. I am passionate about photographing emotion—love, connection, & happiness. It’s a crazy feeling to be chosen to document the biggest days in someone’s life, and I treat it like it’s the most important job in the world... because to me, it is.
I am a traveling photographer + web designer; obsessed with adventure, travel, and capturing intimate moments. If you bring me along on your adventure somewhere special, I can promise to capture memories you will never forget.

Hey, I'm Taiya
I've always naturally been drawn to taking photos. I had a "teen fashion blog" when I was 14 and that's when I figured out I loved being behind the camera more than anything else. I've captured portraits, families, and friends, but capturing couples and their love connection is where my heart truly is.
I would describe my photography style as intimate, warm, natural, intentional, honest, and meaningful. I strive to keep my editing true to colour, making sure not to alter the beautiful tones of nature or your glowing skin tones.

I am currently studying web site design + development, and as much as I love coding websites and graphic design, photography has always been what brings me the most joy.
I also can't get enough of travelling and exploring new places and landscapes. So far I've had the opportunity to explore Denmark, Arizona, Hawaii, Los Angles, Montreal, Toronto, and most of BC/Western Canada!!!
